About This Game:

I ran this game three times in the fall of 2012, including at Fall-In. The Union players won two of the three games. The game pictured above was a near Union victory. Shortly after putting this game together, Rick Hasenauer released a Cornfield scenario for his Regimental Fire and Fury Scenarios book. At some point, I’m hoping to revisit this battle and give Rick’s scenario a try.

Thanks for looking

Always funny to see the Battle of Sharpsburg called instead "Antietam." Where is the creek? I don't see it anywhere on the board. What dumb yankee decided to name a battle after an insignificant body of water instead of the place on the map where it happened?

Great, I bet next you’re going to ask me why the battle was fought in a national park.

  5. Absolutely stunning! I am wondering, what kind of time and budget go into a project of this scope?
